BOLASPORT.COM – Liverpool player in the 1990s, Don Hutchison, suggested the Reds to sign Napoli’s main defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, as a replacement for the injured Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool are threatened with spending the remainder of the 2020-2021 season without Virgil van Dijk.
This is because Van Dijk suffered a serious injury while defending Liverpool against Everton in the Merseyside Derbi match in the Premier League, Saturday (17/10/2020).
In the match that ended in a 2-2 draw, Van Dijk was forced to leave in the 11th minute after colliding with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

In an interview, Don Hutchison said that Liverpool currently do not have a defender as tough as Van Dijk.
Therefore, he suggested that Liverpool bring Kalidou Koulibaly in next year’s winter transfer market which opens in January.
