‘Two players from Italy test positive for corona for a duel with the Orange’

Two players of the Italian national team have tested positive for the corona virus. The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport reports this on Tuesday. Italy will play against the Dutch national team in Bergamo on Wednesday.

It is not clear which players are involved. It has also not yet been confirmed that the newspaper’s report is correct. Italian national coach Robert Mancini will give a press conference on Tuesday evening at 7.30 pm, then more will become clear.

The players from Italy were last tested for the corona virus on Tuesday. Two positive cases would therefore have emerged from this. The players are tested again so that it can be determined with certainty whether they have it or not.

The Dutch national team will play against Italy on Wednesday evening at 8.45 p.m., who are at the top of the UEFA Nations League with five points. The Netherlands is second with four points.
