The activity of the “Rodrigo Solís” National Badminton Tournament began, which is based at the Center for Talent Development and High Sports Performance “Plan de San Luis”, where more than 200 rackets from different parts of the country participate. .
For the tenth consecutive year this important tournament is held that brings together the best of badminton in the country and that year after year adds more players to its charts, in a clear development of this sport.
Among the participants of this edition is Luis Armando Montoya, national team of this sport and who was representing our country in the last Pan American Games in Lima 2019; In addition, he was in charge of taking the sports oath of the tournament.
San Luis Potosí has 58 representatives in this tournament, which is held in memory of one of the most important promoters in Potosí lands.
The participating categories are Sub 11, 13, 15, 17, open category, master only in doubles and for badminton, a modality in which San Luis Potosí is a pioneer; He also stressed that there will be 50 badminton players representing San Luis Potosí and it will be the beginning of the process for the CONADE National Games (formerly the National Olympiad).
