THE BALL – Eusébio and Figo nominated for France Football’s dream team (France)

Despite not delivering the Golden Ball in 2020, France Football decided to elect a dream team in the history of world football. The vote will be made by supporters on the French publication’s website and by a jury of journalists.

This Friday morning, the nominees for the extreme right and striker were revealed, with two Portuguese highlighted. Luís Figo emerges as one of the potential choices for the right side, with Eusébio being one of the names launched to the front.

Right winger: David Beckham (England), George Best (England), Samuel Eto’o (Cameroon), Luís Figo (Portugal), Garrincha (Brazil), Jairzinho (Brazil), Kevin Keegan (England), Stanley Matthews (England), Messi ( Argentina) and Arjen Robben (Netherlands).

Spearheads: Gerd Müller (Germany), Romario (Brazil), Ronaldo (Brazil), Van Basten (Netherlands), George Weah (Liberia), Sándor Kocsis (Hungary), Eusébio (Portugal), Kenny Dalglish (Scotland), Johan Cruyff (Countries) Netherlands) and Dennis Bergkamp (Netherlands).
