Bad news for Buccaneers defensive lineman Vita Vea who saw his season end with a broken leg.
Vea was injured after making a tackle over the Bears’ David Montgomery on Thursday night. Before falling in action, Vea had two quarterback sacks in five games and shone as a defensive tackle.
In the first five weeks, the 347-pound colossus posted the third-best review score at its specialist site position Pro Football Focus. This is the second time in his career that Vea has had to take a long-term absence after missing the start of his rookie season with a calf injury.
Tevita Tuliʻakiʻono Tuipulotu Mosese Vaʻhae Fehoko Faletau Vea by his full name had been a Bucs first-round pick, 12th overall, in 2018.
