The San Francisco 49ers have faced their fair share of adversity since the start of the season and they’ll be hoping to take advantage of a team struggling to get going.

For the last game on Sunday night, the Niners have a date with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Doug Pederson’s squad is having its worst start to the NFL season (0-2-1) since the 1999 campaign (0-4).

After slipping away from a 17-point lead against the Washington team in the first week of operations, the Eagles lowered their flag against the Los Angeles Rams before recording a draw in front of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Quarterback Carson Wentz has committed the most turnovers this season in the NFL with a total of seven.

The 49ers have been deprived this season at some point of the services of Jimmy Garoppolo, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, Richard Sherman, Nick Bosa and Raheem Mostert.

For Sunday, the finalists of the last Super Bowl could find their quarterback and Samuel, while Kittle may return to action.

The Niners still signed two wins in three games despite these injuries.
