Leaving social media in complete disbelief, 23-year-old Luca Corberi had a former F1 world champion who called for the end of his racing career after endangering the lives of his opponents during a race on the Lonato circuit.

The former junior champion had to retire from the race after contact with a passenger, but instead of running behind the barriers, he hung around the edge of the track. What happened next left everyone stunned.

Corberi stood on the side of the track, holding the bumper off his kart before stepping out onto the track and firing the bumper at a driver who was believed to be Paolo Ippolito.

“What is Luca Corberi playing?” The commentator says he’s trying to find out what he’s doing on the line.

“Oh Luca Corberi, what in the world is he doing? I’m sorry, this is absolutely unacceptable.

“Luca Corberi is making himself public enemy number one.

“He will completely negate the officials. You will go through the racetrack. Luca Corberi comes in and should wait at the marshal’s post.

“I would guess that there was no engine failure. He clearly feels that someone got him wrong in some way. “

Fortunately, the dangerous act during the race did not result in any injuries to the other drivers as the bumper remains were removed.

But the ugly scenes weren’t done there yet.

After the race, footage emerged of Corberi Ippolito attacking in the pits. A man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt reportedly showed up to join the mayhem as Corberi’s father.

“The man in the black hoodie who also attacks the driver is Corberi’s father, the owner of the track. The FIA should never drive in Lonato again ”, wrote the motorsport journalist Aurora Dell’Agli.

The footage shows Ippolito with his head bowed next to his kart when Corberi storms out from under the covers and forcibly pushes him backwards into the fence.

The two argue before passengers and officers come in to separate them.

The crazy and dangerous incidents on a track that belonged to the Corberi family left viewers baffled and prompted many to pass on a ban on life to the Italian.

“Luca Corberi just ruined any chance of a racing career after behaving disgustingly at the FIA Karting World Champions today. His father owns the racetrack and sees the force push the guy against a wall. The ban on life for these two idiots, please, ”wrote F1 World Champion Jenson Button in 2009.

“FIA Karting Championships in Italy today. What is this guy doing? Should be excluded from the race for life, ”wrote former F1 driver Robert Doornbos.

“It’s just so crazy that he should be forbidden to run something like that,” wrote Siddhartha Sharma.

“Oh my god, what happened at the karts world championship !!! After an exemplary sanction, Luca Corberi will never step onto a racetrack again in his life, ”wrote Beatriz Pino.
