PARIS – Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) had to swallow a wound because they fell 1-2 when they hosted Manchester United in the first matchday of the 2020-2021 Champions League group stage. PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe admitted that this is very embarrassing.
According to Kimpembe, PSG did not show their best game in last night’s match. Instead of trying to score a goal first, their goal conceded in the 23rd minute because of Bruno Fernandes’ penalty.

This defeat made PSG repeat their nightmare that occurred in the 2018-2019 season. At that time PSG and Man United met in the last 16 of the Champions League.
In the first leg which was held at Old Trafford, PSG actually managed to win 2-0. However, when they arrived at Parc des Princes, Les Parisiens fell 1-3 and forced them out.
