Girgenson’s “Sabers” a serious addition to the attack

Hall started the season with New Jersey’s Devils, but on December 16 was replaced by Arizona’s Coyotes. The most valuable player of the 2018 league in 65 regular championship games stood out with 16 goals and 36 assists. In nine ‘play-offs’, he has two goals and four assists.

“As soon as the player market opened, I called player agent Deren Feris to announce that we were interested in his client,” explained Kevin Edams, general manager of Sabers. “Already at the beginning of the conversation, I told the agent that here we want players who do not object to be in the particular club.”

“We want players on the team who are willing to work and want to win. If it doesn’t go hand in hand with the player’s plans, we don’t need him. However, I quickly realized that Taylor wants to be part of Sabers, so we’re happy to be joining him.”

Edams also made no secret of the fact that Hall is likely to play on the team with Jake Aikel, whom Sabers has high hopes for in the future.

The General Manager also emphasized that a one-year contract does not mean a short-term cooperation between the two parties, as in the future context there has already been talk of a multi-year contract.

Hall was named the number one Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 draft, where he spent his first six years in the NHL. During this time, the attacker wore the team shirt in 381 regular championship games, standing out with 328 performance points (132 + 196). In none of the seasons did the Oilers reach the playoffs.

In all, he has played 627 regular championship games (218 + 345) in his NHL career, but has scored four goals and eight assists in 14 playoffs.

Hall has participated in the All-Star Game three times during his career and celebrated his victory in the World Championship with the Canadian national team in the 2014/15 season.

It has already been reported that Latvian striker Zemgus Girgensons has extended his contract with Buffalo “Sabers” for three seasons. The contract is worth 2.2 million US dollars (about 1.9 million euros) for the season. The previous contract with the hockey player was made last summer for one year for 1.6 million US dollars per season.
