Olivol Mundial managed the start of the match. He found variants from the perimeter, Varela (9) warmed up from the beginning to lead his cast (13 – 6). It took off +7 although Stockolmo lunged, Galletto took the baton and discounted to 55 – 51 in total.
The tension it was felt at all times. Beyond a certain domain of Olivol, the closure was simply for details. A pure triple beat Stockolmo, Macanskas and Varela was the lethal pair at distance in speed and making good use of the spaces when the team rested ahead (67 – 57 and 69 – 59). Tintorelli took aim in offense and seemed all inclined.
Stockolmo left everything in the following minutes, Diego Álvarez with a triple, one more intense mark, Espíndola and Galletto connected for a surprising 9-0. González arrived with the triple of the match, Tintorelli at pure power (74 – 70) and on top of it Mainoldi missed the triple to discount. Stockolmo could barely discount, again Tintorelli with the dagger but there was something else. Gonzalez missed two free hits at +3, but Galletto was unsuccessful in a world finish for Olivol.
