With 91 wins, Lewis Hamilton finally equaled the record for F1 legend from Germany, Michael Schumacher, who had lasted 14 years.

Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick, gifted his father’s helmet to Hamilton for equaling the great record.

“I am honored. Seeing his dominance, I do not think anyone, especially me, will be near Michael in terms of records,” Hamilton said as quoted by Bolasport.com from the Independent.

Schumacher carved out his last win on the F1 stage at the 2006 Chinese GP.

Schumacher and Hamilton’s 91 wins far exceeded that of any other driver in F1 history.
