The ceremony in Geneva is currently taking place, the draw will take place after some awards have been presented. For example, Manuel Neuer was named the best goalkeeper of the last CL season, Bayern team-mate Joshua Kimmich as the best defender. The best midfielder was Kevin de Bruyne from Manchester City. Unsurprisingly, goal machine Robert Lewandowski was awarded the title of best striker.
In the women’s category, the awards went to Sarah Bouhaddi (goalkeeper), Wendie Renard (defender) and Dzsenifer Marozsán (midfield). Pernille Harder was honored as the best striker.
