Operated on his right knee in August, Marc-André ter Stegen (28) was announced unavailable until November, at least. But according to information from Mundo Deportivo, the FC Barcelona goalkeeper is recovering faster than expected from his injury, and could return at the end of October for the Clasico! On October 24, Barca will indeed host Real Madrid at Camp Nou for the first Clasico of the La Liga season, and the German is doing everything possible to be ready on time.
Good news for the Catalans, especially as the team will travel to Turin four days later to challenge Juventus in the Champions League. With his goalkeeper, Barça will not take any risk, however. If ter Stegen is not at 100%, Neto will continue to act as interim.
