Organizer Tuttosport has reduced the candidate list to the last twenty contenders. These three are therefore still part of this. The Golden Boy Award is presented every year to the best player under the age of 21.

Rafael van der Vaart (2003) and Matthijs de Ligt (2018) also won this prize in the past.
