South African Kevin Anderson is the new chairman of the ATP players’ council, a post he succeeds to world No.1 Novak Djokovic, who resigned before the start of the US Open in September. “Kevin Anderson, until then vice-chairman of the ATP players’ council, will take over as chairman”, ATP said in a statement.

Four players have joined the board, elected by their peers, ATP said. They are the Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime, the French Jérémy Chardy, the Australian John Millman and the Scottish Andy Murray, former world No. 1. They digitally replace Novak Djokovic, John Isner, Vasek Pospisil and Sam Querrey who resigned before the US Open.
