Brisbane Lions star Charlie Cameron has apologized to Magpies fans after berating the club in his post-game interview.
Speak with Fox Footy After the game, the Lions’ little striker spoke of the club’s readiness to advance to the preliminary final and play against West Coast or Geelong.
When explaining the coming weeks, Cameron overlooked the Magpies, who will face the Eagles in the Elimination Final on Saturday night.

“It’s excitement, a bit of relief, but of course we now have a week off to focus on the West Coast and Geelong,” he said.
“A week to relax, of course, and go next week, but we’re excited and you need to enjoy these moments. In these moments you don’t play for a long time. “
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Cameron used social media to fix the unfortunate mistake. He said he had “not thought at this point” and apologized to the club.
