Shin Tae-yong’s flat expression when the U-19 national team comeback against Saudi Arabia, evidence that the young Garuda still needs to be trained

BOLASPORT.COM – Shin Tae-yong only stood on the edge of the bench without celebrating when the Indonesian U-19 national team managed to match Saudi Arabia at the Igraliste NK Polet Stadium, Sveti Martin na Mauri, Friday (11/9/2020).

In the third match of the 2020 International U-19 Friendly Tournament, the Indonesian U-19 National Team managed to make a comeback to force a 3-3 draw from Saudi Arabia.

Playing in a 4-4-2 formation from the start, the Indonesian U-19 national team was behind 3 goals ahead of its opponent.

Three goals from Saudi Arabia were created by Khalil Alabsi (26th minute), Mohammed Marran (31 ‘), and Essa Althekralla (37’).

In the first round, Shin Tae-yong’s troops were only able to reduce the lag through Irfan Jauhari in the 45th minute.

Behind 1-3, in the second half the U-19 national team Indonesia was able to equalize through two goals scored by Saddam Gaffar (52 ‘) and Braif Fatari (90 + 2’).

A goal from Braif Fatari in the dying seconds made all the players and officials on the bench to celebrate emotionally.

However, there was an interesting sight when the coach, Shin Tae-yong, was silent while leaning on the pole.
