Report: Conor McGregor was arrested, questioned and released for alleged “attempted sexual assault” in Corsica

Conor McGregor is in trouble with the authorities again.

According to a recent report by AFP SportThe former UFC champion was arrested earlier this week on an alleged incident of attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition. “Notorious” was reportedly taken for questioning and then released by police.

AFP Sport achieved the following Statement from the public prosecutor::

“Following a complaint filed on September 10th denouncing what could be termed attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony Mac Gregor (sic) was the subject of a police hearing.”

The 32-year-old fighter was scheduled to join Princess Charlene of Monaco in a 24-hour charity water wheel race this weekend to promote water safety. McGregor was forced to withdraw from the event.

“Conor McGregor vigorously denies all allegations of misconduct. He was interviewed and released. “

Additionally, McGregor’s manager Audie Attar released the following statement to Yahoo Sports defending his client.

“I’m angry and I’m making a warning loud and clear: Conor McGregor is not and will not be a target for those looking to hit the headline or make a payday.”

McGregor, who announced his retirement from the MMA earlier this year, has had problems with the authorities in recent years. From stealing a fan’s cell phone to beating an elderly man in an Irish pub, Notorious has struggled to keep the headlines for his out-of-the-cage actions.

Although McGregor has been released from the police force and denies all allegations, this is not to be taken lightly. The MMA superstar just couldn’t avoid situations like this during his professional career, even after turning a new leaf earlier this year.
