11) Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has denied reports that the team are trying to trade Alshon Jeffery. They also surprisingly deactivated Jeffery from the PUP roster, which means he will have a chance to play earlier in the season than expected.
12) The Jets have announced that Joe Flacco has passed his physical exam, which means he will be on the active roster. It looks like Flacco will be ready to back Sam Darnold in Week 1.
13) The 49ers activated wide Deebo Samuel from the team’s non-football injury roster, indicating a chance Samuel could be ready to play sooner or later, perhaps even in Game 1. This is good news for a team that has a lot of questions about injuries.

19) The Cowboys plan to place RT La’el Collins on the injured reserve in a few days. That will get him back in just three weeks, but it’s a blow to an already offensive line without a cross Travis Frederick. Fellow Cameron Erving appears to be Collins’ replacement, which is a huge downgrade.
