Paris Saint-Germain permanently sign Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico

Paris Saint-Germain will complete the definitive purchase of Sergio Rico from Sevilla with a permanent contract of 6 million euros after his loan period, Marca reports.

Rico had been on loan in the French capital and was primarily a prop of Keylor Navas, who signed a permanent contract from Real Madrid this summer.

The Spaniard has only played two Ligue 1 games for Thomas Tuchel’s side this season: a 2-1 win over Brest and a 4-3 win over Bordeaux, but started Champions League victories over Atalanta and RB Leipzig. due to an injury in Navas.

Rico’s contract with Sevilla expires in the summer of 2021 and the club is set to complete the signing of Yassine Bounou from Girona to add Czech international goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik in the position.

Rico spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Fulham, but failed to stop relegation from the top flight in England and made 170 appearances for Sevilla.
