ENGLAND beat Iceland to take all three points in their opening game in the Nations League – but not without fear.
Raheem Sterling scored a late penalty after Kyle Walker saw red for the visitors before Birkir Bjarnason got a chance to level the game in the 93rd minute but shot his own free kick over the bar.
- Bottom line: Iceland 0-1 England (sterling pin 90 ‘)
