Since the 17th, Football Manager 2020 has been free in the Epic Games Store, which has led the game to breaking records, with the increase of one million new virtual coaches.
Miles Jacobson, director of the Sports Interactive studio, revealed that in just 3 days, FM 2020 received 1 million new players. Jacobson, who has a habit of sharing the number of active players on Sundays, also added that in this chapter another record was broken, with more than 250,000 bench coaches simultaneously in the game, a number that is usually between 80 and 90 thousand.
Wow – what a reaction to the @epicgames free week. We were told to expect big numbers, but am amazed with what we’re seeing – over 500,000 players of @FootballManager 2020 on the platform in 24 hrs and over 120,000 currently playing on the platform. Hope you’re all enjoying it!
