Basketball: a major chip and an extra sub-23 for the Federal

The new training profile that the Argentine Confederation of Basketball(CABB) drives for the new season of the Federal Basketball generated much controversy in the region, although on the Río Negro side they are not as strict as their peers from Neuquén.

Juan Cruz Montoto, the controller imposed by the CABB in the Río Negro Federation, announced that there would be an agreement so that a major and a player under 23 years of age should be added to the rosters.

Cinco Saltos, Sol de Mayo and Cipolletti have held virtual meetings in recent weeks to learn a little more about the future of the competition.

The trio does not end up being so bad about the new Federal, especially if they get these two extra places to hire players with more experience, who are not so youthful.

The Albinegro already reached the free debt of the last season with what was unexpectedly terminated by the pandemic.

The Cipoleño club made the decision to continue betting on the technical direction of Maximiliano Rubio, but it has not taken firm steps in hiring players until the new rules are confirmed.

The new season is scheduled to start in February 2021, so it has what is left over in this particular preview that always remains subject to the health issue in the country’s provinces.

We must keep waiting for the return of official competitions.
