Update: Trainers placed a splint on Allen’s leg
Jonathan Allen is walking around now. It appears that medical staff put a splint on his left leg. The staff also took their helmets off, a sign that they are done at least for the day.

The Washington soccer team has its most intense practice at training camp as they vie for spots on the roster. Head coach Ron Rivera said it would be a tough practice and injuries sometimes do occur. Defensive end Jonathan Allen fell with an apparent injury to his left leg. He couldn’t put much weight on it and had to be helped off the pitch by coaches. Allen is part of a Washington defensive line considered the strength of the team. We’ll hear from Rivera after practice, but he’s tried to keep the injuries close to the vest.

This came on a play where Greg Stroman knocked out Haskins. The DB celebrated at first, but then the whole field became very calm. He is now sitting on a cooler on the back court stretching his left leg. Is the fact that he’s still here a good sign to me? https://t.co/SdebUyCKL2
