Vlietinck speaks out about returning to Club Brugge

Club Brugge said goodbye to an unnecessary player on Wednesday. For Thibault Vlietinck, there was no longer a place at Blauw-Zwart this season and the 22-year-old had been banned from the training sessions of the first team for a while. OH Leuven offered him an explanation and fixed him on a rental basis for a season. OHL also negotiated a purchase option.

But Vlietinck seems to hope that he will be able to return to Club Brugge to break through. “We’ll see after this season”, he keeps a low profile on the OHL website. “That interest from Stuttgart still makes me dream of the Bundesliga. I have to be able to show off my profile there.”

Last summer, Stuttgart pulled the sleeve of Vlietinck, after he had delivered some strong performances in the Champions League. “That was eventually canceled. Double a pity when you see that I got so few chances to play at Club Brugge last season. It is now up to me to show that I certainly deserved that transfer. I am quite ambitious, but now I want me. primarily focus on relaunching my career at OH Leuven. “

POLL: Will he still break through at Club?
