U16 Baltic Cup: known team composition; Friday live video broadcasts from Kaunas at 17:30 and 19:45

Latvian U16 teams will take part in the Baltic Cup tournament in Kaunas from August 14 to 16. The games will take place without the presence of spectators, live video will be provided.

Latvian U16 boys team head coach Agris Galvanovskis:

“Individual and team trainings, test games with U18 national team have been completed, but we must be ready for the fact that more aggressive and athletic basketball awaits us in Kaunas. We have already experienced such a culture shock in the winter – in the Baltic Sea Cup and tournament in Turkey. Almost all players in the current line-up have this experience, so I hope we adapt sooner.

In terms of height centimeters, this is one of the “longest” youth selections in Latvia, so the prospects are good. But it still takes time and a lot of work to turn the potential of the players into mastery and results. ”
