The giants of the Bundesliga cannot afford the Barca legend
Bayern Munich cannot afford to participate in the match for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, says club chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
She said Tuttosport when asked if the Bavarians will compete for the Argentine: “No.”
Explaining this call, Rummenigge added: “We cannot pay a player of that size. It is not part of our politics and philosophy.
“Honestly, hearing that Messi could leave Barcelona saddens me a bit. Leo has written the history of that club and I think he should end his career with the Blaugrana.
“There are internal and private aspects that I don’t know and that’s why I won’t interfere.”
