NHL announces start times for Stanley Cup playoff games for August 18, 19

NEW YORK — The National Hockey League today announced the following updates to the schedule for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs first round for Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19:

18th of August:

• The start time of Game 4 between the Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers is 3:00 PM ET. The game will air on NBCSN in the US. In Canada, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports.

• The start time of Game 5 between the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars is 5:30 PM ET. The game will air on NBCSN in the US. In Canada, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet and CBC.

• The start time of Game 4 between the New York Islanders and Washington Capitals is 8:00 PM ET. The game will air on NBCSN in the US. In Canada, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

• The start time of Game 5 between the Chicago Blackhawks and Vegas Golden Knights is 10:30 PM ET. The game will air on NBCSN in the US. In Canada, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

August 19th:

• The start time of Game 5 between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Tampa Bay Lightning is 12 PM ET. The game will air on NBCSN in the US. In Canada, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

• The start time of Game 5 between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes is 4:00 PM ET. The game will air on NBCSN in the US. In Canada, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

• The start time of Game 5 between the Arizona Coyotes and the Colorado Avalanche is 5:30 PM ET. The game will air on the NHL Network (and on NBCSN on TV) in the United States. In Canada, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet 360.
