Ismaila Sarr recording

Rumor has it that Liverpool’s target Ismaila Sarr has spoken about the Reds.

He told SansLimitesn.com: “Watford’s relegation hurt me a lot personally.

“I didn’t think we’d get to it. I told myself that we had to do everything we could not to get into the championship. However, we did our best to prevent this situation.”

“At the end of this season I told myself I had failed my mission. I would have loved to help my team stay in the Premier League. It’s a failure for me. I really regret it.

“I still have years of contract with Watford, another 4 years. If Watford wants me to stay, I’ll play in the championship. My exit depends on them too. That’s the most normal thing for me.

“Liverpool are a really great team, everyone would love to play there.

“You won the Premier League this year and the Champions League last year. But there are other great teams in the English league.

“To be honest, I have yet to make a choice. If I’m supposed to leave, I just hope it’s for a good team. Right now it’s just a guess.

“Everyone who works is looking for promotion. If Watford frees me one day, maybe I could play for a bigger team. Go and show my talent elsewhere and then win trophies.”
