Résumé :

Two years after “the drama of Seville” which marked a whole generation, it is almost the same team of France which plays at home the Euro of June 1984. Alongside Jean Tigana and Yvon Le Roux, the leader Michel Platini is at the peak of its form and popularity.

Throughout the competition, their flagship trainer, Michel Hidalgo, changes his tactical choices. The French will gradually be enthusiastic about the France team, at a time when football does not raise the crowds. The summer of 1984 marked a turning point in the history of the Blues.
