Leon Rose of the Knicks who brings good luck

For Thursday’s NBA Draft lottery, “Lucky Leon” Rose will be wearing a replica of a special bracelet that a young Knicks high school fan / player gave RJ Barrett before Rose’s first game as Knicks president on March 2.

Barrett went on to score his career high 27 points and the Knicks beat the Rockets in Rose’s presidential debut. Rose announced her plan in a video on Twitter.

Sixteen-year-old high school star Antonio Sellers came to the game through the Garden of Dreams Foundation and Barrett is his idol.

Sellers have received several Division 1 offers after his freshman season in March 2019. Unfortunately, shortly after the season, he underwent emergency surgery for a brain tumor and is not out of danger.

Sellers followed Barrett during his year at Duke. Her last wish is to visit Duke and meet Mike Mrzyzewski.

The Knicks have a 9% chance of winning the lottery. Last year, they finished third in the lottery and took Barrett, who is still wearing the bracelet that reads “We are 1”.
