Calling all (rich) Kobe Bryant fans, an incredibly unique collector’s item from the historic 60-point farewell game of Mamba is up for grabs … but it will cost a fortune !!
A large section of Staples Center’s hardwood court – where Kobe played his last NBA game – is bound to hit the auction block … and the piece is truly one of a kind.
The footboard features KB’s original jersey number, 8 – painted white, outlined in Lakers purple – signed by the LA legend before he stepped off the pitch he dominated for nearly 2 decades.
Remember, Kobe – who was 38 at the time – had one of the biggest final games in the history of the sport … losing 60 points to the Utah Jazz during the competition on April 13, 2016.
Bryant started slowly but was UNSTOPPABLE in the 2nd half … leading his Lakers team to a comeback win.
It was truly a stunning performance from the Hall of Famer … which is why the court section should be sold for the whopping $ 500,000 !!
We are told that the seller will donate 10 percent of the proceeds to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation, a foundation named after Kobe and Bryant’s Teeth – which promotes youth sport.
Online offers start on September 4th at Heritage auctions … and on September 26th there will be a live auction.
Mamba would have turned 42 on Sunday and Monday (8/24) was nicknamed Kobe Bryant’s day … with everyone from James Harden, Anthony Davis is LeBron James celebrates the life of the basketball legend.
