On paper, the Dallas Cowboys have one of the most comprehensive rosters in the NFL. They also enlisted former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy to stabilize the ship as owner Jerry Jones continued his quest for a Lombardi Trophy. The last time the Cowboys played a Super Bowl game was in 1996, almost 25 years ago.
Hopefully McCarthy can guide his team of superstars to the Promised Land in the years to come. The likes of Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup will once again be crucial to the Cowboys’ 2020 playoff prospects. They have also brought in some promising rookies in the form of Trevon Diggs and CeeDee Lamb.
Another player who will once again make the headlines is running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Seasoned NFL running back Ezekiel Elliott made an appearance with “Shan and RJ ” on 105.3 The Fan. He was asked if he would be okay with sharing races with a teammate if Coach McCarthy required it. He has answered, “If they come to me and ask me to split the staves, I’ll do it. I’ll do whatever they ask me to do to win. This is my No. 1 thing. “

“I love being the bell cow. I love to rock 30 times a game and I do. But all this team needs from me to win is what I’m going to do. I have been pretty durable throughout my career. … 300 races each season… don’t seem to be slowing down yet, ” Elliott said.
Since arriving in 2016, Zeke has traveled more than 5,400 yards on 56 starts for the Dallas-based franchise. He’ll be looking to add to that tally when the season begins next month. Head Coach Mike McCarthy will bow out of the Dallas Cowboys on September 14, 2020. The Cowboys begin their 2020 season with an away game against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
