Hulkenberg in talks about Formula 1 seat for 2021

Nico Hulkenberg was forced to leave Renault at the end of last season. The German’s contract was not renewed and he had to leave the field for Esteban Ocon. He was unable to get a new seat, so he was left on the side for at least a season.

Until, however, the corona virus was diagnosed with Racing Point driver Sergio Perez. Hulkenberg was flown in in a hurry and completed two British Grand Prix weekends. He did this with gusto, showing once again that he was not actually ready in Formula 1.
