Allison Koehnke surveyed Sheep Ranch’s picturesque 102-yard 16 hole and asked her caddy to pass her the putter. He proceeded to aggressively chip his tee shot on the right side of the fairway with tremendous pace. A fortuitous bounce on one of her playmate’s balls later, and she was the proud owner of a hole in one. With video proof to backup.
There was actually a huge amount of strategy involved, according to Golf Digest.

The point is that the end result is the same regardless of intention. An ace is an ace, no matter what path or game plan it takes to find the bottom of the cup. Never let the ranger or the rum and coke drinkers on the clubhouse deck stop you from doing what you want to do.
