Hellebrand returns to Slovakia after half a year in Slavia

Twenty-one-year-old midfielder Patrik Hellebrand headed from Slovácko to Prague’s Slavia for 22 million crowns this winter. Now it should go in the opposite direction, but not permanently, but in the form of annual hosting. On paper, everything should be fine-tuned and entered into the FACR Information System during Tuesday.

Hellebrand had only a meager chance in the basic line-up in Slavia and did not intervene in the game even in the first round against České Budějovice. Hellebrand even trained with Slovácko on Tuesday, so his departure back to Moravia is almost certain. It was not a difficult decision to return, not even for the player himself. “He immediately said he wanted to come to us. We were agreed within five minutes, “said the sports director of Slovácko Šumulikoski for the iSport.cz server.

Patrik Hellebrand will thus become Slavia’s tenth guest guest. Seven of them are in North Bohemian Liberec and one each in Jablonec, Bohemians and Hellebrand in Slovakia.

Hellebrand attracted the most attention last December, when in the 83rd minute he decided the league match with the Pilsen goal in the final 2: 1. At that time, there was a lot of speculation about his possible transfer to Sparta, while the sports director of Letenské Tomáš Rosický was supposedly behind Hellebrand directly in Slovakia. As is well known, however, Hellebrand completed the transfer to Slavia in mid-February.
