Asked about the possibility of asking the North Prefecture for an exemption, in order to increase the capacity of the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium to more than 5,000 people for the next Ligue 1 matches, Marc Ingla, the club’s general manager, rejected this idea.
“We have the possibility to do it but we will be patient and wait to see how it goes. We will let the prefecture observe how things are going with 5,000 people at the stadium. Sunday’s match against Brest (friendly) and that of Saturday (August 22 against Rennes, 1st day of L1) will take place in the same organization and they will provide us with answers. We will see later if we can obtain improvements ”.
