Chelsea gave the pre-season blow as four players tested positive for Coronavirus

Frank Lampard took a blow to his pre-season plans with four Chelsea players testing positive for coronavirus last week.

The team returned to training on Monday after a slightly extended hiatus due to participation in both the FA Cup final and the Champions League round of 16, but last Friday they were tested at Cobham.

Players have mild symptoms or are asymptomatic and will return to training after spending seven days in isolation.

During the hiatus, players were allowed to go on vacation before starting preparations for what will be another grueling season.
