What about Mehdi Carcela? The creative flank attacker is currently on a sidetrack at Standard, but wants to continue playing football in Belgium.
Only a switch to a Belgian top club seems an option. Carcela’s wage demands will certainly not be out of the question. KRC Genk and Anderlecht no longer need a type-Carcela and seem to drop out anyway due to the rivalry with Standard.
To be honest, Club Brugge and AA Gent are also very unrealistic and so only Antwerp remains. Luciano D’Onofrio has a close relationship with de Rouches and Antwerp could use some creativity. Who knows, maybe a very striking transfer is on the way.
