LeBron James (left) became the first LA Lakers player with 30+ points and 10+ assists in the NBA playoffs since Kobe Bryant in May 2010. LeBron James’ score occurred in the fourth round of the 2020 NBA Playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers.

BOLASPORT.COM – Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James, said that Kobe Bryant’s spirit was felt in his victory against the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

The LA Lakers picked up a 135-115 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in the fourth game of the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

The LA Lakers’ victory in the party at the AdventHealth Arena took place on Monday (24/8/2020) evening local time or Tuesday morning WIB.

August 24 represents the two jersey numbers that the legendary player, Kobe Bryant, has worn during his time with the LA Lakers, namely 8 and 24.

Coincidentally, the LA Lakers had a 24-8 lead over the Blazers in the first quarter. LeBron James noticed it when he looked at the scoreboard.

“I know we are 24-8 ahead because I always try to find out what happens during the game,” said James, quoted by BolaSport.com from ESPN.

James believes Bryant’s passion has contributed to his team’s victory.

“When I saw the score 24-8 I thought ‘OK … Kobe is in this building.’ It’s a beautiful night for the team and something we will always remember,” he said.
