Competition in the PBSI Home Tournament in the men’s singles sector was marked by the withdrawal of four players. Three of them withdrew during the tournament.

Gatjra Piliang Fiqihilahi Cupu failed to appear on PBSI Home Tournament due to injuries in the leg.

Firman Abdul Kholik withdrew in the middle of the tournament due to illness, while Muhammad Asqar Harianto and Jonatan Christie did not continue their appearance due to the crowd.

Specifically Jonatan, he already experienced problems in the thigh when facing Karono in the PBSI Home Tournament quarter-finals, Thursday (07/09/2020) afternoon.

Reported by BolaSport.com from Indonesian Badminton, Jonatan considered that cramps were due to fatigue.

“I just wanted to cramp a little, but my condition was okay. It’s just that the players have never played twice a day,” Jonatan said.

“Today I played 70 minutes in the morning and 80 minutes in the afternoon, the format of the tournament is good for training, but not for matches,” he said.
