Michael Jordan brought the Bulls to the championships in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Terry Rozier – who now plays for Jordan-owned Hornets – was born in 1994. Jordan brought the Bulls to the championships in 1996, 1997 and 1998.
Like many young people, Rozier has acquired a new perspective by watching “The Last Dance”.
Rozier, via Jonathan Abrams of the Bleacher report:
“Actually seeing this documentary, I learned so much,” he said. “I didn’t even know they won three in a row [championships two times]. I’m just honest. … To do such things in this league, you have to be super special.
Rozier previously said that Jordan was the reason he chose Charlotte as a free agency. And don’t you know this either?
Whatever else you think of Rozier, I respect this admission. It takes courage to be so honestly embarrassing.
Terry Rozier: I didn’t know Michael Jordan’s Bulls had tripled twice until “The Last Dance” originally appeared on NBCSports.com
