According to Andrew Parson, President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), venues and the village are very important to the participants of the Games.

“These are places where inspiration is born and new friendships are formed for life. I can’t wait to enjoy this experience and experience the hospitality of the Japanese people,” IPC quotes Parson as saying.

Yoshiro Mori, President of the Gaming Organizing Committee, and Toshiro Muto, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, approved all 43 venues of the sports forum, the sports village and the media center.

The next major event will be on July 23, when the annual countdown to the Olympics will begin. It is planned that there will be several symbolic events on this day as well.

The Tokyo Paralympic Games will take place next year from August 24 to September 5.
