Douglas Costa may be close to leaving Juventus once the 2019-2020 Serie A season has ended and there are already two teams showing interest in the Brazilian winger.
According to a report by the Italian outlet TuttoSport, both PSG and Manchester City are excited to make a move for the 29-year-old Brazilian winger. Costa thrived at Juventus in the second half of the 2019-2020 season and is currently one of the team’s most profitable and sought-after names.
The Old Lady is open to making a move for Wolverhampton star Raul Jimenez, but the Premier League team is unwilling to separate from the Mexican. The sale of Costa to another club would give future Serie A champions some transfer funds needed to facilitate a move for the former Benfica star.
Costa has only one goal and five assists in the current season. However, his ability to create spaces like a wing and his ability to play on both sides are attractive traits for both City and PSG. Both clubs could strengthen the depth of their wings and Costa could be a convenient alternative compared to others on the market.
The former Gremio product has been at Juventus since 2018.
