Arsenal is no stranger to the carousel that can be the summer transfer window. Last season, the Gunners bought Nicolas Pépé worth £ 72m and secured the future of French center-back William Saliba for a cool £ 30m.
This summer, with the coronavirus crisis undoubtedly affecting the club’s finances, Arsenal’s wallets could be tightened, limiting their ability to do business.
But the temptation to play in the Emirates Stadium in front of 60,000 supporters of an Arsenal belief still holds considerable weight and will be an enticing affair for many players in this window. Here are the latest Arsenal transfer rumors.
Ceballos remain on the cards
Arsenal’s loaned midfielder Dani Ceballos has hinted that with his latest Instagram post, he might consider extending his stay in North London.
The Spaniard published a photo of him in action against Leicester City and ended his photo with: “This is my team! Let’s Go Gunners! ”
It has sparked suggestions that Ceballos, who has emerged as the favorite of new boss Mikel Arteta, could remain an Arsenal player, with the prospect of slumping Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid team, according to a Metro Sport report .
Ceballos found it difficult to find a constant game time at the Emirates Stadium this season under Unai Emery, although he had a good start.
The 23-year-old has recently won Arteta’s favor, and with additional speculation that Mattéo Guendouzi could be shown the door, the club’s ideal replacement could be in his double pin right in front of his nose.
Making a deal with Real Madrid may be difficult – they are not known for cheaply giving up their talented youngsters, but if Ceballos continues to prove its worth until the end of the season, it could be a viable option.
Edu makes a contract offer for French interested parties

According to the Daily Express, the free agent and former French youth international Malang Sarr was offered a contract by Arsenal’s technical director, Edu.
The ex-defender of OGC Nice could not agree with Ligue 1 and subsequently became a free agent. At the age of 21, Sarr had a lot of experience in the first team and had been a regular starter since the 2016/17 season.
Given Arsenal’s budget constraints, a young center-back’s commitment to a free transfer could accomplish several tasks Edu and Raul Sanllehí want to accomplish this summer.
The club could cope with defensive reinforcements and Sarr’s experience, physical profile, age and contract situation meant he would be a sensible pickup.
However, the move is not a matter of course, as the Spanish outlet Marca also reports that RB Leipzig is interested in signing the youngster.
Lacazette joins European giants

French shooter Alexandre Lacazette could be a victim of Arsenal’s end-of-season sale, according to Italian CalcioMercato outlet.
Juventus is Lacazette’s unlikely candidate, and they have made the most of players in the past who were considered after their Premier League climax.
The move would have overshadowed Carlos Tévez’s move from Manchester City to Turin in 2013 if there was a transfer between the Italian giants and Arsenal.
Lacazette’s future has become increasingly uncertain after Eddie Nketiah’s appearance, and the former Lyon native has only scored three goals in the league since Arteta took office.
The 29-year-old has two more years and it would be an opportunity to make good money from a player many fans at Emirates Stadium think is overwhelmed.
