And he doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to sign the new £ 11.5 million a year deal offered by Liverpool nine months ago.

But at the same time, he made it clear that he is in no hurry to leave the Premier League champions just crowned.

Instead the attacker says he wants to help his club win a lot more silverware – and paid tribute to how boss Klopp made him a better player.

Mane, 28, said: “This is another step for all of us for what we want to achieve.

“As a soccer player you always have to be professional and hungry, in a good way, to win everything.

“I think we have a great team, great staff and the club is fantastic.

“We have another step and great things to achieve, so we won’t stop there.

“We just have to believe in ourselves again and continue to work harder and be humble, for sure.

“Work hard and try to get bigger and bigger results with this club.”

While the current Mane deal doesn’t expire until 2023, Liverpool wants to tie it up for another two years.

They are ready to make him the highest paid player in the club with £ 220,000 a week to put him on par with central defender Virgil van Dijk, who is ready to sign a new contract soon.

That would mean a huge salary increase of £ 70,000 per week on his current payment package.

Klopp has become concerned about the lack of progress.

But the way Mane is excited about the manager who brought the title back to Anfield after a 30-year wait, the German doesn’t have to worry immediately.

The striker underlined: “He is a great manager and everyone is happy with him. I’m lucky to work with him, for sure.

“As a player and as a human being, I developed under him, which is really important for every player.

“We can see how the players develop on this team, so I think all things come from him. I will say it again, thanks to him.

“This was an incredible moment for us, a unique moment.

“I always say that dreams are allowed and, this year, we have shown a great character to make it happen and that everything is possible in football.”

Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino may have been the Fab Three who captured the scoring titles during their team’s triumph – but Mane insists that the whole team was an integral part of their Premier League triumph.

He said: “I always say that we are lucky guys! People always talk about the three of us, but I think this team is more than the top three.

“I’m lucky to play with these two great players and they make it easier for me.

“I will continue to try to work harder and harder to improve more and more for the next games.”

Salah, who has scored 21 goals this season, also loves the feel-good factor generated by winning the title of European champions.

He said: “I can’t describe it in words, it’s so difficult to say how it feels.

“When I got here, I said I wanted to win the Premier League – the first thing I had in mind was:” I want to win the Premier League and the Champions League. “

“People said, ‘If I could choose one…?’ But now I can say that I would choose both! “

Liverpool will receive an honor guard from Manchester City champions deposed at Etihad tomorrow evening.

But central defender Joel Matip won’t be on the pitch because a foot injury has ruled him out until next season.
