The UFC on ESPN 14 headliner between ex-champion Robert Whittaker and Darren Till was extremely tight, although the judges were unanimous in their end results.
All three judges gave Whittaker 48-47 points, a 3-2 lead in the five-round, untitled fight that led the fight card on Saturday at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. While the scores were the same, the judges disagreed in the last two rounds of the fight.
The judges Ben Cartlidge, Anders Ohlsson and Clemens Werner gave Till the first round 10: 9 and Whittaker the second and third round with the same number of points. But for the championship framework, Cartlidge and Werner Till gave the fourth round, 10-9, while Ohlsson gave Whittaker. Cartlidge and Werner were also in the fifth round in the majority, giving Whittaker the 10-9, while Ohlsson disagreed for Till.
