First-round draft pick Isaiah Simmons made the meeting with the Arizona Cardinals official on Saturday, signing his rookie contract with the team.

After reports that the two sides hit it off on Tuesday, the Cardinals tweeted a photo of Simmons putting pen to paper.

They also posted two videos of the 21-year-old walking around the team’s facilities and chatting with head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

“Are you ready to roll?” Kingsbury asked him in the video. “Let’s go make it official.”

Ian Rapoport, of NFL Network, said it was a four-year, fully guaranteed, $ 20.66 million deal. He has a fifth-year club option and a signing bonus of $ 12.58 million.

The Cardinals then tweeted photos of the other recruits signing their agreements.

Just like that, Simmons, third round pick Josh Jones, fourth round picks Rashard Lawrence and Leki Fotu, sixth round pick Evan Weaver and seventh round pick Eno Benjamin are on the squad.

An agreement was reached between the NFL and the Players’ Association on Friday regarding opt-outs and salary cap mechanisms for the 2020 season.

Players also received an email on Saturday outlining training camp guidelines and dates for COVID-19 testing, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

Simmons is looking to build on the success he had in the 2020 College Football Playoff semi-final at State Farm Stadium where he intercepted a safety pass with Clemson en route to help the team to a national championship.
