Real and Barcelona will be joined by Cadiz | next season Primera Division

Cadiz CF is the first club to be assured of promotion to the Spanish top class. The team from Andalusia can no longer drop out of the top two in the Segunda Division 2 match days before the end of the competition. It has been from the 2005-2006 season since the club was admired in the Primera Division.

Despite a defeat, Cadiz was allowed to celebrate the promotion last night. The brand new first division lost 0-1 to Fuenlabrada on Saturday, but saw competitor Real Zaragoza with 2-4 losses against Real Oviedo a day later.

In the rankings Cadiz leads after 40 match days with 69 points, 5 more than Huesca and 7 more than Zaragoza. Thus, the club is the first to be sure of promotion.

It is already 15 years ago, from the 2005-2006 season, that Cadiz came out in La Liga. Then the stay in the Spanish top class was limited to one year.
