PSG-OL: four Parisian players affected in the Coupe de la Ligue final

PSG won its ninth Coupe de la Ligue this Friday evening thanks to a victory acquired at the end of the night against OL (0-0 ap, 6-5 tab) at the Stade de France. But, as against Saint-Etienne in the Coupe de France final a week earlier, with the sprained right ankle of Kylian Mbappé, the Parisians could pay dearly for this success. The concern is not yet too great in the red and blue ranks. But all the same: four players left the Ile-de-France lawn and received immediate care.

They are Mauro Icardi (right thigh), Thiago Silva (right thigh), Marquinhos (calf) and Layvin Kurzawa (right thigh). The next few hours will be decisive and will tell more about their real state of health. Even if Marco Verratti, at the microphone of France Televisions, wanted to be reassuring concerning Thiago Silva and Marquinhos. “They had cramps, they have no injury, they will rest tomorrow (Saturday),” he said “happy to win like that at the penalties”, and ready to “have a little party. “

One or more injuries would nevertheless be annoying in view of the quarter-final of the Champions League on August 12 against Atalanta Bergamo, in Lisbon (Portugal).

During the trophy presentation ceremony, the four Parisians seemed to behave well in any case. Thiago Silva, as a good captain, lifted his 6th League Cup, a record in the history of the competition. Layvin Kurzawa also walked normally on the lawn. Finally, Icardi and Marquinhos were hopping during the collective photos. Maybe not that bad, then.
